Session information

Long after the kids are grown, the outfits have been handed down and life takes off in a new direction altogether, there are portraits to help us remember what those curls looked like, how great baby skin smells and how fleeting childhood really is. Investing in portraiture, as artwork is really unlike any other investment in that it’s the piece of your family that stays with you for life. Your trust in me as a professional photographer means I invest in professional quality equipment in every step of my process, which in turn allows for the best quality portraits.

I take pride in offering my clients a range of museum quality portraits and archival photo albums that will last for years to come. Standard sessions begin with an initial retainer investment of $500, $400 of which is applicable toward the purchase of portraits and albums. Payment is accepted via check or credit card and final orders over $1,500 are payable in installments.

Experience

For over ten years I’ve had the privilege of photographing families throughout Central Pennsylvania. Without hesitation, watching these families grow and change is sincerely the most rewarding part of the work I do as a professional photographer.

As the world of photography has evolved, so has my business but I’ve never strayed from my foundation of authentic photography and a personalized client experience. I’m with my clients for every step of the session planning process, including location and clothing options and finally the portrait selection and framing choices – there’s not a step in my process that’s not handled by me personally. I simply will not be satisfied unless my clients are as well.

I have a 600 sq. ft. sunlight filled studio attached to my home bordering the natural habitat of the Pennsylvania state game lands and while I love to shoot in the fall, really there’s no time of year you’ll find me without my camera. Although outdoor sessions are available year-round, State College and Central Pennsylvania are particularly suited for outdoor portraiture April through November. And of course, studio sessions are available year-round.
