Yearly Archives: 2008And so…winter is here. Gone are the days of frolicking in the sunshine with my clients. Gone are the sunny blue skies, warm breezes and the soft grass beneath my toes. Forget the whole 'gently falling snow' bit…winter brings about bitter cold winds, sheets of ice and days so dark that it doesn't feel like... Nope…3 year old twins! These two totally cracked me up. They had fun together, laughed together and got that little attitude that you see old married couples have with one another. I love repeat clients that come to me year after year, so I can see the personalities develop. For me…that is a gift! There's no doubt that I am drawn to photographs of children laughing. And the way that I interact with children during sessions reflects that – – I get them to interact…to giggle…to laugh. But there is something about the more solemn looks that draw me in…something that makes me want to stare into the photograph. ... Some moms are ideally suited to have bunches and bunches of kids. You know the ones…they are always calm and at ease, their kids are sweet and respectful, and they always look like they are having fun, even when they are at the grocery store or at soccer game #3 of the weekend.
